WALNUT
Men's Wooden Watch
The grain is large and irregular with visible pores that give the wood its texture. It's perfect because of its imperfections.
Chocolate colored growth rings are intertwined with a gray-brown undertone of the heartwood, but there is no harsh border between the two.
When you sand off even the thinnest layer of the material, new shapes and patterns emerge. If you look long enough at the curves and stripes of the wood and especially into the areas where a branch started its growth and the streaks flow around and stretch away from this deep dense center, you'll see why the Tupuna was chosen to represent what this watch stands for.
We tried to keep the design simple so as not to distract from the subtle and timeless beauty of the material.

ZEBRAWOOD
Men's Wooden Watch
Zebrawood boasts, perhaps, the most dramatic pattern of any variety of wood.
The heartwood is a soft warm yellow. The dark chocolate color vines create the contrast and give this amazing material its name. In some places the dark stripes are straight and parallel, in others, they bend into weird shapes and blend gradually into the honey color of the base.
When you think that every one of these stripes captures the weather conditions of the year it was formed, it's difficult to think of a better way to show the passage of time.
The erratic pattern of the zebrawood is contained by framing it with blackwood. It reflects the dark stripes of the central parts of the watch and makes them pop even more and gives the overall watch a finished look.
